Job summary

Barnes Aerospace West Chester Division is seeking a skilled FPI Inspector to support material flow and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will perform inspections of materials, parts in process, and finished parts, including fluorescent penetrant testing, to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing, with the ability to read operation sheets, follow complex instructions,

Qualifications

• 2 years quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read operation sheets and follow complex instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication with team and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine checks, tests, gauging and inspections.
• Test materials and compare results to quality standards.
• Perform visual inspections for defects.
• Record results on inspection forms and report defects.
• Inspect parts using fluorescent penetrant and black light.
• Support inventory control and material flow in manufacturing.
• Understand regulatory requirements and continuous improvement metrics.
