Job summary

Susquehanna is seeking highly motivated full-time students for a 10-week FPGA engineering summer internship. The role focuses on designing and implementing high-performance digital logic blocks with VHDL and testing on lab hardware using C# testbenches. Some projects may involve improving tool flows with Python and Linux scripting.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering with nearing graduation within a year.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Plan to graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree within one year of the internship.
• Knowledge of FPGA architecture and build flow.
• Experience with VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog is required.
• Ethernet and TCP/IP knowledge is preferred.
• Experience with Python, C, or C# is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance, low-latency digital logic blocks using VHDL.
• Test and verify designs with tests on target hardware in the lab.
• Develop and run tests using C# testbenches.
• Enhance tool flows using Python and Linux scripts.
