Job summary

Susquehanna is seeking highly motivated full-time students for a 10-week FPGA engineering summer internship. You will design, implement, and test digital logic blocks using VHDL and work closely with senior engineers on high-performance hardware.

You will run tests on target hardware in the lab and help enhance our tool chains with Python and C#/Linux scripts. This role offers hands-on experience in FPGA design and real-world trading technology environments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Intention to graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree within one year of the internship.
• Knowledge of FPGA architecture and build flow.
• Experience with VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog is required.
• Existing knowledge of Ethernet and TCP/IP is preferred.
• Experience with a high-level software language like Python, C, or C# is preferred.

Overview

Susquehanna is looking for highly motivated full-time students for our 10-week FPGA engineering summer internship program.The FPGA team is responsible for designing and implementing high performance and low latency hardware systems. As an engineer on our team, you will work closely with senior members of the team to design, implement, and test digital logic blocks using VHDL. You will also design and run tests on target hardware in our lab using testbenches written in C#. Other projects may include enhancing our tool flows using Python and/or Linux scripts.

What we’re looking for

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Intention to graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree within one year of the internship program
• Knowledge of FPGA architecture and build flow
• Experience with VHDL, Verilog, or System Verilog is required
