Job description

Take full control of your designs and see them launched into space!

If you’re tired of being one cog in a big machine, here you’ll actually own the work you create.

You’ll build FPGA systems that sit on satellites, trusted to perform in extreme conditions. And instead of layers of management, you’ll be working directly with senior engineers and customers — shaping things with your ideas, not waiting for sign-offs.

You’ll get:
  • A base salary of between $180k and $210k, with a yearly bonus on top.
  • Fast progression: In a flat, merit-based setup, promotions happen when you deliver — not when the org chart says so.
  • Big learning curve: Work alongside engineers who’ve done this for decades and are happy to share what they know.
What you’ll do

Design and develop FPGA solutions used in satellite systems for a variety of applications. You’ll contribute to all aspects of the full product lifecycle: from requirements development, through preliminary design, critical design, prototype, test, and production.

You’ll have full design discretion and responsibility for projects, and the opportunity to engage directly with customers, manage and mentor more junior staff, contribute to internal R&D initiatives and strategic direction, and more.

What you’ll need
  • Strong experience in VHDL and FPGA design, with a track record of delivering high-quality projects.
  • Knowledge of circuit analysis and firmware development, allowing you to design complete systems.
  • Experience designing for extreme environments, such as space, where reliability and performance are critical.
  • Experience working with PCIe / DMA technology
About the company
