Job Overview

We are seeking an FPGA Developer to support our options market‑making systems, optimizing performance and latency.

Responsibilities
  • Use cutting‑edge technology to work on high‑performance, low‑latency systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to investigate and create automated trading algorithms.
  • Work on high‑performance computing systems to break speed and performance boundaries.
  • Build next‑generation algorithmic trading systems.
  • Solve low‑latency trading problems and optimize performance‑critical code.
  • Develop new hardware platforms.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and experiment with performance optimizations.
  • Apply industry knowledge and technical skills in new and innovative ways.
  • Help continuously improve team productivity, code quality, tools, and technology adoption.
  • Create new features and help improve existing experiences.
  • Share ideas, experience, and knowledge with other team members.
Qualifications
  • Development experience with FPGAs (Verilog/VHDL, functional verification, and static timing closure).
  • Demonstrated experience with C++, Bash, TCL, and/or Python scripts.
  • Experience with FPGA design, simulation, and verification tools (Synopsys, Riviera, ModelSim, Questasim, etc.).
  • A desire to push the boundaries on performance and lower latency.
  • Passion for innovation and building systems from the ground up.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
  • Careful attention to detail, and the vision and skill to push beyond expectations.
  • Previous experience developing networks, exchange encoding/decoding, and custom logic on the card.
  • Experience with hybrid hardware/software systems communicating over PCIe (desirable).
  • Experience with exchange protocol encoding/decoding (desirable).
  • Ability to direct own learning, grow expertise, and pass knowledge to others.
