Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking FPGA Design Engineers to contribute to high-bandwidth, high-density signal processing products.

This full-time daylight position is for local candidates in Pittsburgh, PA, with M-F 7:30am-3:30pm shifts. Responsibilities include FPGA design on new architectures, hardware-software collaboration, and creating high-speed interfaces like 100Gb Ethernet and PCIe.

Qualifications

• US citizen required.
• Engineering or science degree required.
• Eligible for security clearance.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.
• HDL experience with VHDL/Verilog preferred.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, PCIe, AXI4, Avalon and SDI.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs on latest FPGA architectures.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers on new products and features.
• Design high bandwidth interfaces including 100Gb Ethernet and PCIe.
• Create products for wired and wireless communications.
• Work with project teams to set plans and milestones.
• Provide routine project progress reports to stakeholders.
• Follow company policies and procedures.

Additional Duties:

• Develop designs on the latest families of FPGA architectures.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers in the development of new products and features
• Design high bandwidth interfaces including 100Gigibit Ethernet and PCIe
• Create products with applications in wired and wireless communications
• Work as part of a technical team throughout the project life cycle to establish and adapt projects plans and milestones.
• Routine reporting on project progress and issues to internal stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to company policies and procedures

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must possess a degree in Engineering or Science
• Must have ability to meet eligibility requirements for security clearance
• Must have ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• C, C++ programming, Python, Javascript, VDHL, Version control systems (e.g., git, svn)
• Familiar with Data Communication Network and associated Layer 2 and 3 protocols
• Shell scripting (Bash) and Unix command line
• Knowledge of protocols such as Ethernet, AXI4, Avalon, PCIe and SDI video
• Understanding of Static Timing Analysis and Timing Closure
