Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. seeks FPGA Design Engineers to contribute to high-bandwidth signal processing products. The role is full-time, daylight hours, with local candidates in Pittsburgh, PA.

Duties include FPGA design, collaboration across hardware/software teams, and development of 100Gigabit Ethernet and PCIe interfaces. Requires US citizenship and ability to travel up to 25%. Applicants should hold a degree in Engineering or Science, have VHDL and C/C++, and be prepared

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• Travel up to 25% of time.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, JavaScript, and VHDL.
• Experience with data communication networks and Layer 2/3 protocols.
• Familiarity with Ethernet, AXI4, Avalon, PCIe; Shell scripting and Unix.
• Timing analysis and timing closure understanding.

Responsibilities

• Develop FPGA designs on latest FPGA architectures.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers on new products.
• Design high bandwidth interfaces including 100 Gigabit Ethernet and PCIe.
• Create products for wired/wireless communications.
• Contribute to project lifecycle with milestone planning and reporting.
