Job summary

URBN's FP Movement is seeking a Wholesale Planner to join the team in New York. You will support the wholesale sales group by developing and executing sound financial plans to drive top-line growth and maximize profitability.

You will deliver analytics to guide strategies, manage OTB and inventory plans, and create market-ready reports for accounts. The role requires at least 3 years of planning experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities within a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of planning experience, preferably in wholesale.
• Must be a quick learner flexible to changing priorities.
• Strong forecasting and analytical skills.
• Must have strong Excel skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and work well on a team.
• Creative problem solver/ outside the box thinker.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be good with systems such as: Skypad, Blue Cherry, Power Point

Responsibilities

• Providing sales with the analytics to pitch strategies to drive the business and/or problem solve and go after opportunities
• Be account-facing during market appointments - prepared to speak to past, present and future financial data
• Create hindsight reporting for each delivery by accountwith summary of findings and suggested go-forward actions
• Manage Location selling for each account by obtaining and entering weekly, MTD & STD sales and stock data, then making suggestions to drive sales and/or highlight potential opportunities/issues
• Manage Market Share reporting and regional opportunities
• Create and maintain class selling reports
• Manage internal and account profitability
• Create preseason sales, margin, and inventory plans for key accounts
• Manage OTB for key accounts
• Provide analytics for key accounts deep dive looking for opportunities to distort business
• Provide support to the sales team and account partners
• Support forecasting submission on a monthly basis with the sales team
• Develop ad-hoc analytical reports and tools to meet the changing needs of the business
• Provide account recommendations on inventory to sales and account partners
• Recap weekly selling by classification, style & color; highlighting best sellers

Pay Range

USD $90,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 /Yr.
