Nelson Connects is seeking a Machine Operator in Santa Rosa, CA. The role involves operating and stopping machines, performing setup tasks, and maintaining safety and quality standards on the production floor.

You will monitor production, document daily output, and assist with training new operators as needed. The position pays $22.50 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm and overtime as needed.

• Perform setup duties and minor equipment adjustments with Maintenance.
• Immediately stop malfunctioning equipment and report issues to supervisor or mechanic.
• Report deviations from quality, production, or safety standards to supervisor.
• Monitor raw material usage and report excess loss.

You are aMachine Operator in a given department. Performing operations efficiently and safely with minimal supervision. Monitoring production to assure quality standards are met.

This position pays:$22.50/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday 2pm-10:30pm overtime as needed

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

What you will be doing:

• Start and stop machine at specified intervals. Operate machine(s) per specifications at standard efficiency.
• Perform set-up duties and make minor equipment adjustments as agreed upon with Maintenance.
• Immediately stops malfunctioning equipment and notifies supervisor or mechanic that repairs or adjustments are necessary.
• Report to supervisor any situation where the operation deviates from acceptable quality, production or safety standards.
• Monitor raw material usage and report excessive loss to the supervisor.
• Document daily production, as required.
• May train new operators.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and keep equipment cleaned at all times.
• Perform all duties safely and wear personal protective equipment, such as: gloves, apron, glasses, back support, etc.
• Observe all safety rules and immediately report all hazards to the department supervisor
• Follow all company rules and regulations, per the Employee Handbook or department policy.
• Perform other duties as required.

What you bring:

• Able to reach, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs.), twist, squat, push and pull.
• Good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred.
