Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an FP&A Systems Finance Analyst in Houston to own and enhance the Anaplan planning platform and support monthly forecasts and budgets. You will partner with Finance, FP&A, HR and Digital Technology to deliver scalable solutions and drive continuous improvements.

The role requires 2+ years in Finance/FP&A, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with finance systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Professional finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CPA) desirable.
• 2+ years of Finance/FP&A experience.
• Experience supporting financial planning and forecasting processes.
• Finance systems expertise and experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple priorities with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and enhance the Anaplan planning platform, partnering with Finance, FP&A, HR, and Digital Technology teams to deliver scalable solutions and continuous improvements.
• Support monthly forecasts, annual budgets, workforce planning, actuals integration, management reporting, and long-range planning.
• Translate business requirements into functional solutions, coordinating testing, deployments, and system enhancements to improve user experience and platform adoption.
• Ensure data integrity and governance by managing integrations and resolving data/reconciliation issues.
• Drive process optimization and automation to improve forecast accuracy and planning efficiency.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and change management across global finance and business teams.
• Provide user training and develop documentation, delivering training sessions and acting as a trusted advisor.
• Support finance transformation initiatives and AI-driven planning capabilities.
