Trane Technologies in Noblesville, IN is hiring a Sr. Financial Analyst within Life Science Solutions Finance.

The role partners with FP&A teams to develop forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans, providing analytical support to drive decision-making across the business. You will collaborate with Investor Relations, Treasury, and Acquisitions to enable accurate earnings releases, manage financial models, and monitor performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Master’s degree or professional CPA/CMA preferred.
• 5+ years in finance, accounting or related field with strong analysis.
• Advanced Excel, MS Office and Hyperion Planning/HFM knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate info with SBU FP&A teams for monthly forecasts and AOP.
• Collaborate with financial systems team to standardize reporting.
• Monitor financial performance and analyze variances.
• Develop tools to identify problems and improve financial models.
• Support capital investment evaluation and quarterly earnings analysis.
• Work with Investor Relations, Treasury and M&A teams to streamline processes.
• Provide actionable recommendations to management.

What’s in it for you:

Trane Technologies is hiring a Sr. Financial Analyst for its Life Science Solutions Finance team. Life Science Solutions Finance provides financial support to the Life Science Solutions enterprise across a range of disciplines, including Corporate Accounting and Financial Planning. The Financial Planning & Analysis Group is responsible for long-term and short-term financial planning, forecasting, management reporting and analysis, and the creation of tools to help drive decision-making. A senior financial analyst in this group reports to the Life Science Solutions Finance Leader and will manage several high profile financial responsibilities. This position plays a key role in providing analytical and business decision support to drive financial forecasts, operating budgets and strategic goals.

What you will do:

• Work with SBU FP&A teams to coordinate the collection of information required to develop, analyze, and/or modify financial plans, which include the monthly forecast, annual operating plan (AOP) and long-term strategic plans (LRP)
• Work closely with financial systems team and drive standardization and automation in reporting tools. While also acting as a liaison between Corporate and the Sectors/Business Units – drive collaboration.
• Monitor and report financial performance, analyze and interpret operating results, investigate variances and unusual items; and evaluate their effect on operations. Report results along with recommendations for action.
• Develop tools for early identification of financial problems and make recommendations for resolution of problems. Design, improve and maintain financial systems and models
• Participate in the evaluation and review of major capital investments.
• Prepare analyses and provide support for the quarterly earnings releases and calls
• Collaborate with various teams such as Investor Relations, Treasury, and Acquisitions/Divestitures to support and drive processes.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent required.
• Master degree preferred and/or CPA, CMA
• Minimum 5 + years experience in finance, accounting or related field, and strong financial analysis skills.
• Demonstrated ability to establish & implement processes and perform in a fast-paced environment, while also to building a positive rapport and attitude with personnel throughout the worldwide organization.
• Advanced Excel Skills. Knowledgeable in MS Office, Hyperion Planning/HFM knowledge.

$97,406.66 - $156,200.00
