Job summary

Helion in Everett, WA is seeking an FP&A professional to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team, supporting monthly financial reporting and business operations across departments. This onsite contract role is based in Seattle and reports to the Finance Director of FP&A.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, and financial models, provide variance analysis, build AI-augmented reporting, and partner with department leaders to drive data-informed decisions.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis in technology, manufacturing, robotics, energy, or similar high-growth tech.
• Experience owning budgets, forecasts, financial models, and variance analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Work with business and technology managers to provide financial guidance and support planning.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial models with variance analysis.
• Develop and enhance financial reporting using AI finance toolsets and KPI metrics.
• Analyze operating expenses and capex to identify risks, opportunities, and improvements.
• Leverage Excel, ERP systems, BI platforms, and AI tools to enhance reporting.
