Job summary

SmartestEnergy US is hiring an FP&A Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis. This hands-on role partners with senior leadership, accounting, commercial and risk teams to provide timely financial insights and support strategic decisions.

You will build driver-based models, manage budgets and headcount, and present financial results with clear recommendations. Strong Excel, PowerPoint and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance or related analytical finance experience.
• Experience building driver-based forecasting models and integrated three-statement models.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to present to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and five-year plan with leadership.
• Develop and maintain driver-based financial models in Excel.
• Prepare scenarios and analyze forecast risks and opportunities.
• Manage operating expense and headcount budgets with owners.
• Analyze actual vs budget and present variance commentary to execs.
• Create dashboards to monitor margin, cost, and liquidity.
