Job summary

Deriva Energy is seeking a Manager, FP&A to lead planning, forecasting and performance reporting across the organization. You will own the integrated financial model, run scenario analyses, and partner with Operations, Asset Management and Development to guide capital allocation and growth decisions.

The role is based at our Charlotte, NC headquarters with four days in office. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in FP&A, advanced financial modeling and experience with ERP/EPM/BI tools; MBA/CPA/CFA is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 5+ years FP&A, corporate finance or related roles.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning.
• MBA, CPA or CFA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Planning & forecasting: support annual budget, rolling forecasts, long-range plan from assumptions through Board review.
• Financial modeling: own integrated corporate model and run scenario, sensitivity, valuation analyses.
• Performance reporting: deliver monthly/quarterly results, KPI dashboards, variance analysis vs budget/forecast/prior year.
• Executive & sponsor reporting: prepare materials for senior leadership, Board, Brookfield with consistency across submissions.
• Business partnership: work with Operations, Asset Management, Development and corporate functions on cost management and capital planning.
• Strategic support: provide analysis for M&A, asset sales, financings and other strategic initiatives.
• Process & systems: drive standardization, automation, data quality across planning tools; partner with Accounting on close/reconciliations.
• Team leadership: coach analysts, set priorities, manage workload.
