Job summary

James Hardie Building Products Inc. in Minnesota is seeking an FP&A Manager to lead financial planning and analysis for Ultralox Interlocking Technology. This role focuses on accurate reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decisions.

The successful candidate will partner with commercial, SG&A, and finance teams, build and present complex models, and drive continuous improvement in planning processes for long‑term value creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Consulting or related fields.
• 7+ years of progressive FP&A experience.
• Advanced knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel with complex financial models.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Power BI, and enterprise planning tools (EPM, Hyperion, JDE).

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly operations review of financial performance to budget, prior year, and forecast for a designated area.
• Own monthly preparation of forecasts, annual budget, and long-range financial plans for a designated area.
• Partner with commercial teams to drive revenue and incentive plans.
• Collaborate with SG&A leaders to help achieve targets in dynamic conditions.
• Provide guidance on finance decisions and resource allocation plans.
• Create and present complex financial models and ad hoc analyses to leadership.
• Develop models for annual operating plan and rolling 12‑month forecast with demand planning.
• Provide variance analysis and explanation to senior leadership and finance.
• Present analyses to Senior Management and participate in key meetings.
