Role Overview

KBR is seeking an FP&A Manager to join the ISA / ES Finance team, reporting to the Sr. FP&A Manager – ISA / ES. The role involves providing financial planning and analysis support to the CFO and CEO, mainly focusing on unconsolidated JVs.

This position follows a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office) based in Houston, TX.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Performance Analysis: Analyze and report monthly financial performance, identify variances, and provide insights.
  2. Forecasting: Support forecasting processes, consolidate business forecasts, and identify risks and opportunities.
  3. Budgeting & Long-Term Planning: Assist in the annual budgeting and strategic financial planning, including scenario modeling.
  4. Business Partnership: Collaborate with various functions to align financial requirements and support decision-making.
  5. Reporting & Visualization: Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel to present insights to management and the Board.
  6. Advanced Analytics: Use Python and Power BI to enhance financial modeling, automation, and insights.
  7. Process Improvement: Automate processes and improve workflows leveraging Power BI, Python, and Excel macros/VBA.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 9+ years of experience in FP&A or related roles
  • Strong analytical skills and technical expertise in Excel, Python, and Power BI
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Hyperion, Workday, or Workiva (preferred)
Preferred Skills
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, macros)
  • Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, forecasting)
  • Power BI expertise (DAX, dashboards, data flows)
