Job summary

Joyce/Dayton Corp. is seeking an FP&A Manager to own financial reporting, budgeting, and multi-year forecasting. You will oversee cost accounting, payroll accruals, and statutory reporting, with two direct reports, and report to the CFO.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in accounting/finance, strong Excel and ERP skills, and experience in manufacturing. The role is full-time and based in Dayton, OH with on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Analytics required.
• 4+ years in accounting, financial analysis, or cost accounting, preferably manufacturing.
• Experience with overhead absorption, labor and burden rates, and inventory valuation.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to audit complex financial models.
• ERP experience and ability to extract data from systems like Epicor Kinetic.
• CPA or CMA preferred; strong communication and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and ensure accuracy.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and three-year plans for Graham Holdings submission.
• Oversee payroll accruals, cost accounting, and internal controls.
• Analyze burden absorption, labor rates, and inventory valuation.
• Coordinate with HR on workforce budgets and department inputs.
• Provide weekly updates to CFO/Controller with KPI metrics.
