Job summary

Rapid7, Boston, seeks a Manager of FP&A to drive ARR forecasting excellence, own strategic corporate planning workstreams, and lead critical CFO initiatives. You will translate bookings, renewals, expansion, and churn into forward-looking growth signals for executive leadership.

You will build driver-based models, partner with Revenue Operations and GTM Finance, and implement AI-enabled tooling to automate recurring reporting while delivering board-ready insights for decisive actions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of finance experience in SaaS, investment banking, or private equity.
• Advanced Excel with audit-ready financial models built from scratch.
• Experience leveraging Claude or other AI tools to accelerate analysis.
• Expertise in SaaS ARR dynamics, bookings-to-ARR, retention metrics.
• Knowledge of corporate planning, budgeting, and long-range forecasting.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into structured recommendations.
• Strong, board-ready communications for executive leadership.
• Lead cross-functional planning with revenue, operations and GTM teams.
• Drive ARR forecasting and strategic initiatives for the CFO organization.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end ARR forecasting models translating bookings, renewals, expansion and churn.
• Craft ARR performance narratives for growth drivers and retention to executives.
• Execute ARR waterfalls, retention analyses, cohort modeling and scenario planning.
• Lead top-line workstreams in annual operating and rolling forecasts.
• Manage strategic finance initiatives including business cases and M&A diligence.
• Build driver-based sensitivity models for risk-return decisions.
• Partner with Revenue Ops, Sales, GTM Finance to unify ARR metrics.
• Implement AI-enabled reporting to free time for strategic work.
