Job summary

Simeio, a PE-backed IAM services company, seeks an experienced Manager, FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis in a hybrid Alpharetta, GA role.

You will partner with Sales, Services, Operations and Product to deliver actionable insights, build detailed financial models, and support executive reporting to the Board and PE sponsor.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role with a clear path to people leadership as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5-10+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience.
• PE-backed, SaaS/tech/services experience preferred.
• Experience supporting hybrid SaaS and services models.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Hands-on NetSuite and Power BI experience.
• Strong executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own key components of annual budget, rolling forecast, and long-range planning.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models for revenue, gross margin, OPEX, EBITDA and cash flow.
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses for PE-driven planning.
• Analyze SaaS metrics: ARR, bookings, churn, NRR, deferred revenue.
• Support services forecasting: backlog, utilization, billable rates, margins.
• Partner with Sales/Services on deal economics, pricing, and margins.
• Serve as trusted finance partner to leaders across Sales, Services, Ops, and Product.
• Translate financial data into clear, decision-ready insights for non-finance stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly operating reviews and executive KPI dashboards.
• Support Board and PE sponsor reporting requirements.
• Improve FP&A processes, modeling standards, and reporting discipline; align with Accounting; utilize NetSuite and Power BI.

Role Overview

The Manager, FP&A is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for core financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and executive reporting. This role partners closely with senior finance leadership and cross-functional business leaders to deliver actionable insights that support growth, operational discipline, and value creation.

While the role does not initially include direct reports, it is intentionally structured with a clear path to people leadership as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

• Own key components of the annual budget, rolling forecast, and long-range planning processes across both SaaS and services
• Build and maintain detailed financial models covering revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, EBITDA, and cash flow
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to support PE-driven planning and decision-making

Revenue, Margin, and Unit Economics

• Analyze SaaS performance metrics including ARR, bookings, churn, net revenue retention (NRR), and deferred revenue
• Support services forecasting related to backlog, utilization, billable rates, and project-level margins
• Partner with Sales and Services leadership on deal economics, pricing strategies, and margin optimization

Business Partnership & Decision Support

• Serve as a trusted finance partner to leaders across Sales, Services, Operations, and Product
• Support hiring plans, investment decisions, and cost initiatives through rigorous financial analysis
• Translate complex financial data into clear, decision-ready insights for non-finance stakeholders

Reporting, KPIs, and Management Cadence

• Prepare monthly operating reviews and executive-level KPI dashboards
• Deliver concise variance analysis versus budget and forecast, with clear supporting commentary
• Support Board-level and private equity sponsor reporting requirements

Process, Systems, and Scalability

• Continuously improve FP&A processes, modeling standards, and reporting discipline
• Partner closely with Accounting to ensure alignment between actuals, forecasts, and management reporting
• Leverage NetSuite, Power BI, and advanced Excel modeling to enhance data quality and insights

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 5-10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance
• Experience within PE-backed, SaaS, technology, and/or professional services environments strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience supporting hybrid SaaS and services business models
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and Power BI
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently at the executive level
