Job summary

Avis Budget Group invites you to join the 10 Week Accelerate Internship Program at our Parsippany, NJ World HQ. You will gain exposure to finance and accounting, performing analysis and helping prepare forecasts and management reports.

You will work closely with leaders, participate in professional development workshops, and present a capstone project to senior management at the end of the program.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment at college/university.
• Able to work 35 hours per week at Parsippany HQ.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Detail oriented with strong ownership of work.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of financial statements and analysis.
• Develop monthly forecasts and business plan for revenue and expenses.
• Assist with preparation and automation of management reports.
• Support month and quarter close processes.
• Review monthly income statements to reconcile forecast to actuals.
• Develop a project to drive value and present to leaders at program end.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects.
