Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking a Summer FP&A Intern at our Burns Harbor, Indiana location. You will assist in gathering, preparing, analyzing, and reporting monthly financial results, forecasts, and budgets in a Fortune 500 environment.

As an intern, you will work with industry-leading professionals, gain hands-on experience in corporate accounting, and have the potential for future full-time opportunities based on performance.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program in Accounting or Finance.
• Must have completed at least sophomore year by summer 2027.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Help generate product line (detailed income statement)
• Assist in SG&A review
• Generate inventory summaries
• Generate/assist in variance analysis
• Assist in operational cost reviews
• Prepare quarterly lower of cost or market analysis
• Assist/prepare in Balance Sheet analysis
• Help generate detailed scrap reporting monthly
• Other duties may be required

Cleveland-Cliffs is looking for a summer FP&A Intern at our Burns Harbor, Indiana location. This internship offers hands‑on experience and exposure to corporate accounting at a Fortune 500 company. The FP&A Intern helps gather, prepare, analyze, and report monthly financial results, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets in a dynamic environment.
