Job summary

Weidmüller USA is seeking a Financial Analyst, FP&A to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis across the organization. You will build financial models, analyze profitability, and deliver KPI dashboards to leadership.

You will collaborate with department leaders to understand drivers, evaluate investments, and improve performance. A strong Excel skill set and ERP experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and Power Query.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau/SAC).

Responsibilities

• Support the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting activities across the organization.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic business decisions.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, pipeline activity, profitability trends, and key business metrics.
• Partner with department leaders to understand business drivers, identify opportunities, and improve financial performance.
• Perform cost center reporting and variance analysis, identifying key trends and recommendations.
• Support profitability analysis across product lines, customers, channels, and operational functions.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance KPI dashboards and business intelligence reporting tools.
• Assist in evaluating business cases, capital investments, pricing strategies, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Support labor rate calculations, cost allocation methodologies, and other financial modeling activities.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and reporting packages for senior leadership and Board reporting.
• Collaborate with Accounting during month-end close processes to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting assumptions.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and analytical capabilities.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects to support organizational objectives.
