Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company in Denver, CO, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support FP&A, Ikon Pass forecasting, and insurance programs. You will own weekly/monthly reporting, budgeting, and ad-hoc analyses while partnering with senior leaders in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in finance, advanced Excel, and solid accounting knowledge. This role offers a hybrid work model in our Denver headquarters and competitive compensation with benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting in a mid to large company.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to build complex financial models.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles including accruals and revenue recognition.
• Analytical rigor with ability to distill large data into executive-level reporting.
• Excellent communication and ability to present to non-finance audiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly Ikon Pass visitation and financial results reporting.
• Coordinate monthly budget and forecast for assigned areas and support ad-hoc analyses.
• Own analytics for company-wide insurance programs and cost allocations.
• Support contract economics, revenue/expense tracking, and monthly reporting.
• Lead annual budgeting process with collaboration across departments.
• Develop financial models, scenarios, and data requests for corporate initiatives.
