Job summary

Dematic seeks a Financial Analyst at our Grand Rapids, MI headquarters to support the FP&A team and provide a well-rounded background in accounting and finance for future growth opportunities.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of FP&A, you will participate in monthly closes, forecasting, budget processes, and cross-functional improvements, while delivering proactive analysis and insights. A 2–4 year track record in finance/accounting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting or finance required or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience in corporate or public accounting.
• Strong communication and professional demeanor.
• Proficiency with Excel; experience with SAP/Oracle/BI advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assists in monthly financial close with accurate reporting to parent company.
• Coordinates quarterly and half-year reporting packages.
• Serves as key point of contact for reporting questions or new guidance.
• Participates in monthly forecasts and annual budget process including SG&A and cost centers.
• Identifies and implements operational improvements and automation.
• Provides proactive analysis and insights beyond standard duties.
• Works on special projects and improvement teams as needed.
