Job summary

Dematic's North America headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of FP&A, the role offers diversified finance experience and clear growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include owning the NA budget/forecast for cash flow and NWC, delivering reporting with insightful variance analysis, and partnering with HR and Facilities. Proficiency in Oracle/SAP is helpful; CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
• Strong understanding of the link between business issues, P&L and cash flow.

Responsibilities

• Own NA cash flow and net working capital budget/forecast, with variance analysis and insights.
• Compile monthly cash disbursement forecasts and compare to actuals.
• Model and submit monthly NWC forecast in Oracle with inputs from colleagues.
• Ensure high-quality reporting with complete data and timely commentary.
• Provide financial business partner support to HR and Facilities teams.
• Identify and implement reporting improvements and automation opportunities.
• Provide proactive analysis beyond regular duties.
• Work on special projects and improvement teams as needed.
• Support Finance intern program and mentor FP&A interns.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $66,400-$99,600 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

• Serve as key knowledge source of North America cash flow and net working capital (NWC), owning the budget/forecast process and delivering reporting and variance analysis with thoughtful insights.
• Compilemonthly cash disbursement forecasts and analyze historical forecast performance against actual results.
• Model and submit monthly NWC forecast into Oracle, collaborating with colleagues for key inputs.
• Ensure a high degree of reporting quality with completeness, accurate data, concise commentary, and timely delivery.
• Provide financial business partner support to HR and Facilities teams.
• Add further value to the finance function through the identification and implementation of operational improvements; streamline reporting, automation opportunities etc.
• Provide proactive analysis and insights above and beyond regular responsibilities.
• Work on special project and improvement teams as needed.
• Support Finance's intern program and provide mentorship to FP&A intern.

What We are Looking For:

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
• 3-5years of relevant working experience including either in a large corporate environment or public accounting experience.
• Practical experience understanding the link between business issues, profit and loss, and cash flow (direct and indirect).
• Strong communication skills, with high level of integrity and a detail orientated mindset.
• Candidate should be a motivated self-starter, able to demonstrate sound judgment and resourcefulness in decision-making and problem solving.
• Financial modeling, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle or AI is an advantage.
• The ideal candidate will aspire to use this role as a springboard into project controlling, operations controlling, or other finance roles within approximately 2-3 years.
