Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 2+ years experience in GL accounting or FP&A.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement prep.
• Forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis in FP&A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of the annual departmental budget, including major capital projects.
• Analyze financial performance and prepare monthly forecasts for station O&M and capital expenditures.
• Identify, investigate, and reconcile accounting issues using information systems.
• Assess the impact of accounting issues on the overall budget.
• Generate routine financial reports to explain budget and forecast variances.
• Record and summarize financial transactions.
• Prepare special reports for leadership.
