Job summary

Amazon's North America Operations FCAP Finance Team seeks a Finance Manager to lead FP&A for Capacity/Initiatives investments, delivering rolling 3-year plans and bottoms-up models. You will partner with L8s/L10s, drive planning reviews, and establish scalable processes in a fast-paced environment.

You will synthesize complex data, communicate clear insights, and influence business decisions while building reliable financial perspectives across teams and functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field.
• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• MBA or CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning cycles for a multi-billion dollar business.
• Deep-dive variances vs. plan to understand changes and uncover opportunities for efficiency improvement.
• Lead cross-functional projects involving finance, engineering and tech teams.
• Form strategic plans to improve processes, tools, and analytics; own ideation, pilots, stakeholder management and expansion.
• Leverage operations metrics to identify cost-out opportunities by linking operations and financials.
• Identify risks, evaluate impact, propose changes, and implement improvements to remediate gaps.
• Drive automation and process improvement across planning, forecasting and goal management.
