Job description

FP&A Data & Governance Analyst with AI Enablement

We're looking for an energetic, technically curious FP&A Data & Governance Analyst to ensure the data behind our planning, forecasting, and reporting is accurate, consistent, and trusted. You'll own the data foundation FP&A relies on: the sources, definitions, pipelines, and controls that turn raw SAP data into reliable reporting. You'll also use AI and automation to streamline how financial data flows, is validated, and is reported, making you a key contributor to our digital finance transformation.

What You'll Do
  • Own the quality, consistency, and integrity of financial data used by FP&A, including actuals, plan, forecast, and headcount
  • Establish data governance standards, including KPI definitions, a business glossary, and a single source of truth for reporting
  • Manage finance master data and hierarchies (cost centers, GL accounts, org structures) across SAP, planning tools, and BI platforms
  • Work extensively in SAP to extract, transform, and validate data, and build pipelines between SAP, planning tools, and reporting environments
  • Build validation, reconciliation, and exception monitoring to catch discrepancies before they reach stakeholders
  • Design controls and change management for planning models and reporting datasets to meet audit requirements
  • Build and maintain dashboards and semantic models for FP&A self-service reporting
  • Automate recurring data prep, refreshes, reconciliations, and journal entry processes to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy
  • Identify and implement AI-driven process enhancements (e.g., machine learning, generative AI, intelligent automation) such as anomaly detection, data quality monitoring, and automated documentation
  • Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and IT to resolve data root causes, and document lineage and business rules
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Experience with financial data (ledgers, reconciliations, close processes, planning or reporting data)
  • Strong SQL and Excel skills, plus comfort with AI-assisted analysis tools
  • Familiarity with AI and automation tools (e.g., Python, RPA, generative AI) and interest in applying them to finance processes
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Understanding of data governance concepts such as data quality, lineage, and master data management
  • Solid grasp of accounting principles, the general ledger, and financial controls; SAP (FI/CO, S/4HANA) experience a plus
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical and AI-driven solutions to finance stakeholders
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Self-driven, fixing root causes and applying AI or automation where it helps
  • Curious about new technology, especially AI, and eager to apply it in finance
  • Collaborative, comfortable setting standards and championing responsible AI use in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
  • Planning or governance tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Anaplan, OneStream, Collibra, or SAP MDG
  • Python or R; SAP automation tools (e.g., SAP Build, Intelligent RPA)
  • Shared services, controllership, or finance transformation background
