Mission Pet Health is seeking a curious FP&A Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team in Birmingham, Alabama. You will partner with department leaders and senior finance staff to support planning, reporting, and analysis that drive clarity and confidence across the business.

The role blends rigorous data analytics with storytelling, turning numbers into actionable insights. You’ll lead forecasting cycles, support the budgeting process, and pursue automation to improve efficiency while aligning

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of accounting, finance, or business analytics experience.
• CPA or CFA, a plus.
• Education focused on accounting, finance, data analytics, or similar studies.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate expense forecasting cycles.
• Lead the annual budgeting process in partnership with department leaders.
• Prepare and assist with executive and department reporting packages.
• Conduct variance analysis against budget and prior periods with clear narrative explanations.
• Present budget analysis to department leaders and senior leadership.
• Support automation initiatives to streamline reporting and reduce manual effort.
• Perform data validation to ensure accuracy across financial systems.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects and analyses as business needs evolve.
