Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an FP&A Associate in Trussville, AL onsite to support executives by consolidating budgets, optimizing resources, and delivering insights on business performance.

You will analyze financial data across business units, prepare executive-level reporting, review monthly results against budgets, forecasts and prior year, and drive profitability improvements with BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as Financial/Accounting Analyst or similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data clearly.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and interpret financial and operational data across Business Units, delivering insights on trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Perform detailed reviews of monthly financial performance, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow results, comparing budgets to actuals, forecasts and prior year performance.
• Prepare executive level reporting packages, presentations, and board support materials.
• Evaluate financial data to uncover trends, patterns and opportunities that drive profitability improvements and cost optimization initiatives.
• Leverage FP&A and business intelligence tools to enhance reporting automation and analytical capabilities.
