Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking an Associate Financial Analyst to support development, modeling, and reporting of financial results aligned with the corporate operating plan. You will assist with monthly reports, budgeting, and scenario analysis to inform management and the Board of Trustees.

The role requires 0–3 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and strong MS Office skills. Travel to MA/CT/NH may be involved, and emergency storm work is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience.
• Zero to three years experience.
• Strong MS Office and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports production of Monthly Financial Report and Monthly Projection Report.
• Assists in annual budget process.
• Reviews and validates financial model runs.
• Communicates results to management.
• Coordinates budgets and projections across departments.
• Prepares financial budgets and projections for executive review.
• Provides information to help understand financial performance.
• Reports budget vs. actual and current vs. prior year analyses.
