Job summary

Air Transport Services Group, Inc. (ATSG) is seeking an FP&A Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and decision support across ATSG and its business units. You will prepare recurring financial plans, management reporting, and variance analyses to assist leadership decisions.

This role provides broad exposure to ATSG’s airline, leasing, maintenance, and logistics businesses, with opportunities to automate processes and improve planning in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field is required.
• 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, accounting, or related analytical role.
• Experience building budgets/forecasts for a business unit, department, or cost center.
• Experience creating financial models from source data.
• Experience producing recurring reporting and analysis for management.
• Ability to translate operating drivers into financial outcomes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to distinguish material drivers from noise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare assigned portions of the annual budget and periodic forecast for revenue, cost, headcount, capex, and cash.
• Build and maintain driver-based financial models linking operating stats to financial results.
• Gather, validate, and challenge inputs from stakeholders and document assumptions.
• Support long-range planning, scenario, and sensitivity analyses as requested.
• Track forecast accuracy and report recurring variances with clear driver attribution.
• Meet deadlines and maintain version control of planning outputs.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting packages and KPI dashboards.
• Draft commentary for management and coordinate with Corporate FP&A, Treasury, and Controllers.
