Job summary

Shift Technology is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join our finance team in the Boston area. This hybrid role reports to the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis and collaborates with the CFO on financial planning, reporting, and strategic analysis.

You’ll work with senior leadership to shape how metrics drive decisions in a fast-scaling SaaS environment. You’ll build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports, work through large datasets in Excel and Google Sheets, and explore

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 2–3 years in FP&A or SaaS/subscription environments.
• Proficiency with Excel formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Support CFO and Head of FP&A with financial analysis, reporting, and ad hoc projects.
• Maintain and improve financial models, dashboards, and internal reports.
• Organize and analyze large datasets in Excel/Sheets; turn data into insights.
• Explore AI tools to enhance financial reporting efficiency.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations in Google Slides/Docs.
• Contribute to process improvements across finance and operations.
