Job summary

PayPal, Inc. in New York City seeks an Analyst, FP&A to partner with business and finance teams on forecasting, budgeting and monthly close, using advanced financial systems and AI-based models.

You will build models, perform variance analysis, and present findings to senior leadership, helping drive performance and strategic decisions in a fast-paced, inclusive environment. PayPal supports a balanced hybrid work model with in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

• 1+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the business and finance teams on forecasting, budgeting, and month-end close activities.
• Conduct business case modeling and run deep-dive analyses.
• Review financial model performance and implement enhancements.
• Leverage data and systems to enable metrics forecasting and analysis.
• Assist in monthly reporting, variance analysis (Actual Vs. Forecast Vs. Budget), and ad hoc deep dive analysis.
• Own finance support for designated partners.
• Execute a wide breadth of financial processes including long-range planning, budgeting, month-end close and forecast, resource allocation, KPIs, and performance management.
• Effectively communicate financial results to senior leadership.
