Job summary

Vehicle Service Group, a Dover company, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support forecasting, budgeting, and KPI tracking. You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders and accounting during month-end close to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The role emphasizes variance analysis, business case support for capital expenditures, and continuous improvement of reporting processes using Power BI and Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 1–3 years of finance experience in a manufacturing and/or FP&A environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in budgeting and forecasting cycles with cross-functional leaders.
• Collaborate with accounting during month-end close to ensure accuracy of financials.
• Explain variances to forecast to cost centre owners and support monthly reviews.
• Utilise PowerBI for reporting and variance analysis to improve visual reporting.
• Prepare weekly/monthly updates on KPIs (efficiency, productivity, inflation, etc.).
• Support business case analysis including capital expenditures and NPD stage reviews.
• Improve current deliverables by evaluating reporting benefits, speed and accuracy.
• Prepare consolidated FP&A deliverables for management reporting.
• Support FP&A team on special projects and growth opportunities.
