Job summary

Dover's Vehicle Service Group (VSG) in Madison, IN is seeking a Financial Analyst to support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis within the FP&A team. The role collaborates with cross-functional leaders and accounting during month-end close, using Power BI for reporting and KPI tracking.

The ideal candidate has a finance or accounting degree and 1–3 years’ experience in manufacturing FP&A, with strong Excel, PowerPoint, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
• Approximately 1–3 years of finance experience in a manufacturing and/or FP&A environment.
• Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, graphs), PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical ability.
• Ability to communicate across functions and regions.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with cross-functional leaders.
• Collaborate with accounting during month-end close and review financials.
• Explain variances to forecast and support KPI tracking.
• Utilize Power BI for reporting and variance analysis.
• Prepare weekly/monthly updates on key performance indicators.
• Assist in consolidated FP&A deliverables for management reporting.
