Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking a highly skilled FP&A Analyst III to support the Business Partner Financial Planning and Analysis team. This role focuses on enabling informed decisions through driver-based forecasting, complex modeling, and insightful financial analysis across the firm and functional areas.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, translate drivers into actionable insights, and prepare customized reports and dashboards to support strategic initiatives and financial stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• MBA / MSF or CFA/CPA, or comparable certifications.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in FP&A.
• Ability to develop financial/economic models using driver-based methods.
• Ability to influence decisions with analytical guidance.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with process improvements in ambiguous environments.
• Ability to present complex data clearly to senior leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal relationships across Finance and business areas as a trusted partner.
• Perform advanced analysis, forecasting, and complex modeling.
• Support forecasting for cash, lending, and advisory revenue streams with actionable insights.
• Assist in segment planning, reporting, and analysis to reveal performance trends.
• Create high-impact analyses translating data into recommendations.
• Educate leadership on financial impact and optimal solutions.
• Develop functional measurements to track results and accountability.
• Prepare management reports and dashboards for firm initiatives.
• Summarize complex information for senior management.
• Present analysis and insights to senior leaders; educate on analytical concepts.
