Job summary

Safelite in Columbus, OH is seeking a Financial Analyst II to perform extensive budgeting and forecasting, and to conduct various forms of financial analysis for potential transactions and reporting. You will guide junior analysts and contribute to a collaborative finance team.

The role focuses on scenario development, assumptions, and analyses for different business plans, with responsibilities that include month-end close, report preparation, and communication of risk exposures.

Qualifications

• Excellent Analytical skills and strong written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field required.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, etc.) and ability to create dashboards.
• Experience with sales planning models preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares advanced level scenarios for possible future financial conditions and assists in the preparation of the annual budget, incorporating forecasts and volume projections.
• Develops assumptions regarding volumes of business and performs various financial analyses.
• Prepares standard and non-standard reports and maintains investment portfolio information on income simulation models.
• Conducts cost/benefit or breakeven analyses for projects and communicates interest rate risk exposure.
• Performs month-end closing and distributes monthly financial statements and analyses.
• Other duties assigned by management.
