Applegreen US in Glen Rock, NJ is seeking a Finance Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for Commercial Operations, IT, and Facilities. You will partner with Finance, Operations and HQ to deliver timely, accurate insights and drive performance.

The role requires 2–3 years FP&A experience, advanced Excel, Power BI and Oracle EPM skills, and the ability to build complex models and compelling presentations.

Qualifications

• BSBA degree required; 2–3 years FP&A experience preferred in retail, wholesale, or QSR sectors.
• Advanced skills in developing complex financial models and in-depth data interpretation.
• Strong Excel, Power BI, and reporting capabilities with clear visuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of the budget and forecasts including variance analysis.
• Distil budgets to site and brand levels using advanced allocation methodologies including seasonality curves and WoW growth trends.
• Prepare complex financial models to support Commercial Operations Facility projects.
• Develop presentations with visuals that provide insights and elevate storytelling.
• Leverage Excel for advanced reporting and analytics.
• Synthesize large data sets with Power BI capabilities.
• Analyze financial data to understand key performance drivers using Smartview and EPM.
• Prepare monthly leadership presentations with financial reporting, insights and variance analysis.
• Support Head Office with reporting and analysis of monthly expenses and variances.
• Partner with Finance BMs and Head of Transformation for cost-outlier analyses and savings opportunities.
• Manage statistical accounts loads into ERP systems PDIEPM and Labor systems UKG with data validation.
• Prepare financial models for capital projects for Investment Committee with ROCE and Payback analyses.
• Provide analytical support for business-improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects.
