Applegreen US in Glen Rock, NJ is seeking a Finance Analyst to join the US FP&A team. You will provide reporting, planning, forecasting and financial analysis to Commercial Operations, IT and Facilities, partnering with Finance and Operations to drive performance.

The role requires advanced Excel, Power BI, and EPM skills, and you will develop complex models, prepare monthly leadership presentations, and support cost optimization across sites.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required.
• 2–3 years FP&A experience or similar role; retail/food service experience a plus.
• Advanced skills in developing complex financial models.
• Strong analytical acumen to interpret data and challenge figures.
• High proficiency in Excel (functions, PivotTables) andPower BI/SmartView/Oracle EPM.
• Ability to create compelling PowerPoint presentations to support decision making.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of the budget and forecasts including variance analysis.
• Distil budgets to site/brand/account level with seasonality curves and weekly growth trends.
• Prepare complex financial models to support Commercial Operations and Facilities projects.
• Develop presentations with visuals that translate insights into actions.
• Utilize Excel for advanced reporting and Power BI for data visualization.
• Analyze data to identify drivers of performance using Smartview and EPM.
• Prepare monthly leadership presentations with commentary and variance analysis.
• Support Head Office with monthly expense and variance reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance Business Managers and Transformation to identify cost savings.
• Load statistical accounts into ERP systems and validate data.
• Develop financial models for capital projects and assess ROI and payback.
