Job summary

World’s Finest Chocolate seeks an FP&A Analyst to join the Finance team. The role focuses on Canadian Fund and Corporate profitability analysis, budgeting, and forecasting with cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in corporate finance, strong analytical skills, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint abilities; CPA or master’s is preferred. Hybrid work with quarterly travel to Chicago HQ is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; master's or CPA preferred.
• 2–3 years in corporate finance with analytical focus; cross-functional experience valued.
• Experience in food or confectionery industry is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; SAP experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate business items to appropriate parties clearly, verbally or in writing.
• Drive Canada Fund forecasting; compile changes and provide summaries.
• Prepare internal/external financial forecasts and annual budgets.
• Provide forward-looking commentary on forecast changes.
• Monitor performance indicators; analyze variances and trends.
• Track expenses vs. budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and build financial models for opportunities.
• Collaborate with IT on systems to meet reporting needs.
• Support management with in-depth financial analysis.
• Automate large data sets in Excel; use pivots, VLOOKUPs, formulas.
