Job summary

Homans Associates is hiring a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst in Wilmington. This salaried role reports to the Director of FP&A and focuses on budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis, inventory reporting, and ROI assessments.

You will support month-end close and provide timely financial insights to senior management. The position requires a Bachelor degree in accounting or finance with 3-5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in distribution, plus advanced Excel and Oracle

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
3-5+ years accounting experience preferred in a distribution environment.
Budgeting and forecasting knowledge and development.
Excel expertise and attention to detail are essential.
Able to work independently and with others; meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Assist in monthly revenue and inventory reporting.
Develop weekly, monthly and annual P&L and balance sheet forecasts with FP&A Director.
Manage excess, slow and damaged inventory reporting.
Prepare budgets and forecasts by collecting and consolidating financial data.
Analyze lease financials to determine ROI for senior management.
Support SEC-related product detail analysis and month-end reporting.
Create ad hoc reports and special projects as requested.
