Job summary

Hyundai Capital America seeks an FP&A Associate to join the Finance team in Irvine. You will support month‑end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, helping manage operating expenses and provide timely insights.

The role requires strong analytical skills, cross‑functional collaboration, and advanced Excel abilities. 2–4 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field are preferred, with a focus on accuracy and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of financial experience including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, financial reporting, or financial analysis.
• Experience with recurring reports, maintaining financial data, and reviewing budget-to-actual results for accuracy.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial systems required.
• Experience with SQL, SAS, or Tableau is a plus.
• Experience in financial services, automotive finance, banking, or consulting is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and learning new financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close and recurring financial reporting activities.
• Assist with operating expense management, budgeting, and forecasting by preparing reports and updating data.
• Perform defined financial and operational analyses and summarize findings for cross‑functional discussions.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance performance data and recurring reports to improve timeliness and accuracy of analysis.
