Applegreen US is seeking a Finance Analyst to join the US FP&A team based in Glen Rock, NJ. You will provide reporting, planning, forecasting, and analytical support to Commercial Operations, IT and Facilities, partnering with cross‑functional teams across the US, UK, and Ireland.

The role emphasizes strong Excel, Power BI, and Oracle EPM skills, with opportunities to influence budgeting, cost analysis, and strategic initiatives while delivering timely financial insights.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required.
• 2–3 years FP&A or similar experience; retail/food service exposure a plus.
• Advanced skills in developing complex financial models.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret and challenge data and to interrogate financial systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables, Power BI, Smartview and Oracle EPM.
• Ability to create compelling PowerPoint presentations for decision making.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of the budget and forecasts including variance analysis.
• Distil budgets down to site and brand level data with advanced allocation methods.
• Prepare complex financial models to support Commercial Operations and Facility projects.
• Develop presentations with visuals that deliver impact and insights.
• Utilize Excel for advanced reporting and Power BI for data synthesis.
• Provide monthly financial reporting and variance analysis to leadership.
• Support Head Office with expense reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate with Finance Business Managers and Transformation teams on cost opportunities.
• Manage data loads into ERP systems and ensure validation.
