Job summary

Teradyne, located in San Jose, CA, seeks an FP&A Analyst to partner with Manufacturing and Supply Chain. You will deliver actionable insights, drive financial discipline, and lead process improvements to unlock efficiency.

You will blend FP&A expertise with data-driven decision making and help advance automation and digital analytics. You will support CapEx approvals, lead revenue and forecasting activities, and work with cross-functional teams to optimize spend and implement reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CPA/CFA preferred)
• 3+ years of progressive experience in Finance or FP&A, ideally supporting manufacturing and supply chain operations
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional initiatives
• Demonstrated success in process improvement and automation projects

Responsibilities

• Support the capital expenditure (CapEx) approval process, ensuring financial rigor and alignment with strategic priorities
• Lead components of the revenue and forecasting cycle; partner with marketing to build accurate recognition plans and tracking models
• Manage spend allocation and maintain the operational spend model to ensure transparency and accountability
• Partner cross-functionally to streamline financial workflows and implement process automation and reporting enhancements
• Support quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis

Opportunity Overview:

We’re seeking a proactive and analytically driven FP&A Analyst to partner with our Manufacturing and Supply Chain organizations. In this highly visible role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders — providing actionable insights, driving financial discipline, and leading process improvements that unlock efficiency and value across the business.

You’ll also help advance our process automation and digital analytics capabilities, building scalable tools and models that enhance agility and performance.

**We are open to remote and local candidates but are unable to provide relocation for this position.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is$62,200 - $99,500.This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan:

This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
