Job summary

Valaris Limited seeks a 4th Engineer to support senior engineers in operating the MODU's power plant and machinery with a strong emphasis on crew safety and environmental protection. The role requires safe handling of bunkering and fluid transfers, and routine engine room watch duties.

Applicants should have a Maritime Academy credential and a high school diploma; drilling experience is preferred and completion of relevant training is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma; graduation from a Maritime Academy is required.
• Drilling Industry experience is preferred.
• Completion of all training and certification requirements as described in the training matrix.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew safety, environmental protection, and engine room safety.
• Maintain watch in the Engine Control Room and ensure proper power distribution on the MODU.
• Perform bunkering, fuel, water, and fluid transfers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain order and housekeeping at mechanical sites and identify procedures improvements.
• Attend and participate in safety meetings and risk assessments.
