Job summary

United Dental Corporation is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our Phoenix practice at Smile Fitness Dental Center. This full-time, four-day workweek offers a competitive hourly wage of $50–$55, based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package.

You will provide preventive and periodontal care, educate patients, and collaborate with doctors and staff to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a PPO/fee-for-service environment.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
• Strong periodontal assessment and clinical hygiene skills.
• Ability to educate patients on treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Commitment to providing a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preventative and periodontal hygiene care.
• Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing.
• Complete periodontal charting and assess patients' periodontal health.
• Take diagnostic radiographs as needed.
• Educate patients on oral health, home care, and recommended treatment.
• Identify areas of concern and communicate findings with the doctor.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support an efficient, patient-focused clinical environment.
• Collaborate closely with doctors, dental assistants, and the front office team.
