Job summary

Steak 'n Shake Sarasota is seeking a fountain operator to prepare fountain beverages to order within 5–8 minutes, using the multi-mixer, CRT, ice cream spade, and dippers to Steak n Shake specs.

The role requires good vision, hearing, stamina and team spirit. You will restock, clean, sanitize, monitor temperatures, and maintain uniform and safety standards while supporting a fast, friendly service environment. This on-site position involves standing for long periods and lifting up to 30 pounds.

Job description

General Purpose:

The fountain operator is expected to perform a variety of duties in the preparation of associated fountain products.

Essential (primary) Functions:

The primary responsibility of the fountain operator is to prepare all fountain products to order within 5-8 minutes in accordance with Steak n Shake specs utilizing the multi-mixer, CRT, ice cream spade, and correct dippers. Monitoring equipment temperatures. Restocking, cleaning/sanitizing the fountain area while maintaining security, safety, uniform and company standards at all times.
