Job summary

Dragonfly Pond Works, a leading environmental services company, is seeking a field technician to install, maintain, and repair fountain and aeration systems in outdoor settings. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency as you service clients and help ensure regulatory compliance.

Based in Rehoboth Beach, DE, this full-time hourly position pays $23-$27 per hour and requires at least 2 years of repair experience with aquatic fountains or small pumps, along with electrical and mechanical

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience with aquatic fountain or small pump repairs.
• Repair or warranty certified by AquaMaster, Otterbine, AirMax, or Kasco.
• Experience with electrical systems, pumps, and controls.
• Mechanical aptitude (pumps, plumbing/PVC, repairs).
• Ability to troubleshoot issues independently in the field.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 80 pounds on a regular basis.
• Great communication skills.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation, maintenance, and repair of fountain and aeration systems.
• Troubleshooting electrical (120V/240V) and mechanical issues.
• Performing preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Conducting electrical testing using diagnostic tools.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and stormwater regulations.
• Documenting work through service reports and photos.
• Coordinating with internal teams and manufacturers.
• Supporting field operations and crew oversight.

The core purpose of this position is to install, maintain, and repair fountain and aeration systems while ensuring that the company's clients are serviced following the highest standard of quality while maximizing efficiency and productivity and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.

Pay: $23 - $27 an hour- Full-time

Requirements
