Job summary

BCI Solutions, Inc. in Bremen, Indiana is seeking a proven foundry technical leader to own the metallurgical direction of our gray and ductile iron foundry.

You’ll drive quality, yield, scrap, and process performance, and partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance. This role requires expertise in cast iron, green sand, and metallurgy, with a track record of solving complex foundry challenges and leading teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of cast iron foundry experience
• Minimum 3 years of green sand experience
• Strong understanding of cast iron metallurgy, melting, molding, and process control
• Demonstrated success solving foundry quality and production challenges
• Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Willingness to relocate to or reside within commuting distance of Bremen, Indiana

Responsibilities

• Lead the metallurgical and technical direction of our gray and ductile iron foundry
• Own and optimize green sand systems, melting, pouring, and process control
• Lead casting defect investigations and root cause analysis
• Drive improvements in quality, yield, scrap, and process consistency
• Support new product launches, quoting, and process development
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to solve complex foundry problems
• Develop technical standards and strengthen foundry knowledge across the organization
